Opening of the “Jubilee Year Door” at Sacred Heart Cathedral J.B.

Bishop Paul Tan will preside at the 6:00pm Mass on the 3rd week of Advent on 

Saturday the 12th December 2015, at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Johore Bahru.   

Thereafter , he will open the external door of the Adoration Room there and will declare 

the “Jubilee Year Door” opened.

During the period of the Year of Mercy i.e. from 8th December 2015 till 

20th November 2016, anyone who enters by this “ Jubilee Year Door” shall gain the 

indulgences as announced by our Holy Father, Pope Francis.

 

Dear friends,

After being healed by Jesus, Bartimaeus, unlike the others who had been healed, chose instead to follow Jesus. Bartimaeus gave up everything to approach and follow Jesus . This is how true disciples react to God's Grace:

THEY FOLLOW HIM. And we as disciples through our words and actions should lead others to Jesus too.
