Language Pastoral Assemblies (LPA)

The diocese will be organising the Language Assemblies that will be done over 4 days (20^th May, 4^th – 6^th June 2019). These assemblies will be done according to the language groups. Each language group will assemble for the meeting only one day.  All the clergy will be attending all the assemblies. The aim of the language assembly is to SEE, REFLECT and PLAN for the future considering our challenges, opportunities and commitments. Our parish will be sending reps for the English, Mandarin and Tamil assemblies. Do pray for the assemblies. 

Missionary Journey

The Year of Mission 2019 invites us to reflect on the birth and growth of the various Catholic Churches and communities in our diocese. The diocese is encouraging visitation accompanied by prayers to these churches. As a remembrance of our journey, a booklet is prepared. It is recommended that each family / household get one booklet and when you visit the parishes and pray in the churches in Melaka and Johor, you can get it stamped in the church you visit. Most of the churches and chapels in the diocese are included in the booklet. Each booklet is RM 1/-. One booklet is recommended per household or family. You can get the booklet after the weekend masses while stock lasts.

  

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER NEEDED

The Mission-Pastoral Institute (MPI) of Malacca Johore Diocese (MAJODI) is looking for a graduate in social studies with at least 3 years hands-on experience in research, documentation and production of case studies or stories.
