ANNOUNCEMENT
Extract from Bishop’s Circular No: BP/2020/042:
“As the Bishop of MJD, I announce that all churches,
chapels and mass centres can re-open for worship and approved gatherings
(weddings, funerals) with effect from 15th August 2020, (Saturday),
Feast of the Assumption of Our Blessed Virgin Mary”.
Saturday, 15th August 2020 – Feast of the
Assumption of Our Blessed Virgin Mary
Mass at 7:00 pm in Mandarin.
As per RMCO, SOP, we are
still required to maintain register of those attending Mass. With social
distancing, our capacity is 70.
Those wishing to attend, please submit your names with Valerie at 07-434 1828 or email to sthenrybp@hotmail.com. Closing date for registration 29th July 2020.

Measures to be adopted when coming for Mass
1) Congregation must wear masks on arrival at Church, while in the building and until they leave.
2) Temperature screening at the Entrance will be performed for everyone. Any person with a temperature of 37.5 °C will be asked to rest at home and not allowed to enter the church.
3) Hands need to be sanitized before entry into church.
4) Congregations are reminded NOT to socialise in groups and avoid mingling in the corridor or common spaces on arrival and leaving. Encourage everyone not to talk unless necessary.
5) Avoid any meals in church premises.
6) NO handshakes, hugging and other demonstrations of physical contact.
7) Toilets are a risk location for transmission of Coronavirus. Congregation should use their home toilets before coming to church/reduce the use at the church.

CHRISTUS VIVIT! (Christ is Alive)
An online 3 week series of
webinars presented by young speakers on the Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation
of the Holy Father to Young People and the entire people of God.
Date: August 2020 (3 weeks (1st, 2nd, 3rd week)
1 session a week (8 – 9:30
pm). 1.5 hour each session.
3 Separate Age Groups
13-17 (Fridays)
18-24 or campus
(Saturdays)
25-39 (Sundays)
Speakers: 3
separate young speakers for each age group.
Total of 9 speakers for
one language.
