PROTECT YEAR 4: CUT AIR POLLUTION One of the biggest contributors to air pollution is vehicles burning petroleum.  Air pollution contributions to the early deaths of almost 9 million people a year from the young to the old.  It is linked to heart disease, lung cancer, stroke and other diseases.  Burning petrol/diesel also causes global heating.  Resolve today to cut fuel consumption and save lives.
Prayer for the Migrants Merciful and loving Father, we beseech, open our hearts so that we may provide hospitality and refuge to migrants who are lonely, afraid, and far from their homes.  Give us the courage to welcome every stranger as Christ in our midst, to invite them into our communities as demonstration of Christ’s love for us.  We pray that when we encounter the other, we see in her the face of your Son, when we meet a stranger, that we take his hand in welcome. Help us to live in solidarity with one another, to seek justice for those who are persecuted and comfort for those who are suffering.  We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.  Amen	Malacca Johore Diocese Young People Day   The Malacca Johore Diocese Young People Council – North-Central Johore Vicariate  will be organizing this year’s Malacca Johore Diocese Young People Day (MJDYPD) on November 24, 2023 at St. Louis Church, Kluang, from 10.00am- 4.00pm. The theme for this year’s MJDYPD is “Mary arose and went with haste,” (Lk 1:39). Bishop Bernard Paul will be the main celebrant. Parish Contribution for Year 2023   Each family is encouraged to give a monthly or yearly contribution. This contribution is voluntary and is for the maintenance of the Parish.
