Church of St Joseph, Plentong – Feast Day

The Church of St Joseph, Plentong will be celebrating their Golden Jubilee and Feast Day on Sunday, 1^st May 2016 with the main celebrant Bishop Bernard Paul. The day will be filled with lots of fun activities. All proceeds from this celebration will go towards the building fund of the Church of the Holy Family, Ulu Tiram. Inauguration of JB/Johore chapter of Catholic Doctors of Malaysia (CDAM)

Date : 7^th May 2016 Time : 6:00 pm

There will be Mass at The Cathedral of The Sacred Heart, Johor Bahru concelebrated by His Lordship Bishop Bernard Paul and Rev Fr Dr Michael Teng. If you knew that your next message or words to your family and friends would be your last, what would you say? Suddenly, all those things that are so important in our daily lives become meaningless. We fill our usual conversations with topics of health, employment, education, finances, sports and the weather. We complain about others. We gripe about all the things we have left to do. We stress over everything. Yet none of this would be the final words we choose to speak to our family or friends.

Jesus faced this very dilemma with family and friends on the night before His death. He knew there was no time left. These would be His last words. If they forgot everything else, they could not forget this message. The same is true for us.

Love one another as Jesus loves you. The love we show for one another is how the world will know we are His disciples. Our belief in this message will help us survive the difficult times and appreciate the good times. It summarizes all of the Lord’s teaching. When all is said and done, loving one another is all that really matters.
