OCTOBER
– Month of Rosary
All families are encouraged to open their houses
for BEC rosary during the month of October. Mary who visited Elizabeth wants to
visit us as well.
Let us commit to praying the rosary daily.
Using Church
Premises/Facilities
For those who need to use the church premises/facilities for
prayer, meeting or gathering, please inform the parish priest or parish office at
least 2 (two) weeks before using.
Parish Subscription
A big thank you to
all who have given generously. For those who have not given your monthly
subscription you can give to the parish clerk. God bless you.
Holy
Childhood
The donation collected by the children to help
other children will be done in October to December 2018. Do collect the boxes from
the catechism teachers or parish office and return it by end December 2018. Catechism
children are encouraged to take part.

Rejoice
and Be Glad No. 175
When,
in God’s presence, we examine our life’s journey, no areas can be off limits.
In all aspects of life we can continue to grow and offer something greater to
God, even in those areas we find most difficult. We need, though, to ask the
Holy Spirit to liberate us and to expel the fear that makes us ban him from
certain parts of our lives. God asks everything of us, yet he also gives
everything to us. He does not want to enter our lives to cripple or diminish
them, but to bring them to fulfillment. Discernment, then, is not a solipsistic
self-analysis or a form of egotistical introspection, but an authentic process
of leaving ourselves behind in order to approach the mystery of God, who helps
us to carry out the mission to which he has called us, for the good of our brothers
and sisters.
