Society of St. Vincent De Paul recycling project
Society of St. Vincent De Paul wishes to thank parishioners for
their kind support in the Recycling Project. SSVP earns about RM700
per year through the sale of recyclable items.
We look forward to the continued support of parishioners, but hope that
parishioners will only donate items strictly under the following categories:
1. Used paper products (e.g. old newspapers, old books and magazines, cardboard boxes,etc)
2. Plastic bottles and containers
3. Tin cans and aluminum cans
Please do not leave anything which does not belong to these 3 categories in the recycling room.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

BEC THEME for AUGUST 2014: CHOSEN TO GLORIFY GOD ( Luke 1: 46-55)
Dear people Of God, in line with our BEC theme, we are reminded that God calls and
chooses us so that HE may manifest Himself through us. We are called to be
the Alter Christus ( the other Christ). By virtue of our baptism we enter into
an intimate relationship with God. Therefore through our thoughts , words and
actions we are called to glorify God and also to reflect God to our family members and friends.
This would most certainly incorporate kindness and compassion towards one another.
Let us invite Mary into our lives and ask her to teach us to be humble and
obedient servants of God. I am sure Mary our Mother will teach us to say YES to
God and moving us towards the realization of manifesting the Risen Lord in our daily
lives. God bless you and your loved ones.
