They will begin on 24^th June 2018.

Collection for TABUNG HARAPAN MALAYSIA (THM)

The Archbishops and Bishops of Malaysia invite all parishes, religious Houses and individual Catholics to partake in this noble cause to set up a trust fund to settle the nation’s debts, under the purview of the MOF; i.e. Tabung Harapan Malaysia. Collectively, the first collection of June 22^nd, 23^rd, & 24^th (Friday – Sunday) weekend will be dedicated to the Tabung.

In addition to this collective move, individual Catholics are encouraged to participate too, by sending to:

SIGNIS (World Catholic Association for Communications) and the Holy See’s Secretariat for Communications are launching a global poster and video competition on the theme of the 52^nd World Communications Day (WCD), May 13, 2018. Participants are encouraged to submit a video or poster on the theme of the WCD message: “The truth will set you free: Fake News and Journalism for Peace.” There will be monetary prizes and global recognition for the winners.

Contest entries must be completed and submitted by September 30, 2018. Winning entries will be notified by December 2018.
