yes we are still on the Gospel of St John Chapter
6. Please make it a point to read John Chapter 6 and see the rich spiritual food
that we can draw from this theological masterpiece. The focus is Jesus who is present in the
Eucharist, the bread of life, the bread of Angels, the elixir of immortality.
The Eucharist will strengthen us and help us to endure the trials and hardships of
life and. The Eucharist is the food that endures for eternal life.
Friends, do you truly believe Jesus is present in
the humble white host? The Israelite saw God's law (Torah) as the bread ( manna)
from heaven.
Jesus is the new “bread that came down from
heaven."
The manna of the Israelite's
nourished them physically, but they died in time. By accepting Jesus, the new
manna, into our lives, we will have a different kind of life- Life Eternal.
